MONTEZUMA, IOWA

Participate in our growing church community. Let’s get connected!
Our church is served by a board of elders and deacons, and is theologically built upon strong reformed principals.
In 1856, the First Presbyterian Church began to serve God in the community of Montezuma.

9:30AM WORSHIP—
We exist to glorify God at First Presbyterian Evangelical Church (FPEC). Join us as the scriptures are opened each Sunday morning and the infallible Word of God is preached with a full children’s program during service. Praise and worship include a mix of hymns and newer songs.
THIS IS US—
We are a simple church with a simple message:
Know Jesus and Make Jesus Known!

We have been thrilled with the interest in our adult discipleship study, The Missing Messiah. We will be looking at how the Jesus of Scripture is different than the Jesus of the world, and learning how to better follow the real Jesus in our lives. This is based on a book by Kyle Idleman and Mark Moore (though no reading is required to participate). There are still a few spots remaining for both time slots: Sundays at 4pm (November 1, 8, 15, and 22) and Tuesdays at 6:30pm (November 3, 10, 17, and 24). You can sign up at the link below or in the fellowship hall. Contact Pastor Andy for more info.
Join us this Sunday, November 1st, as we wrap up our “Good Work” sermon series on Nehemiah. We will be looking at how to handle distractions that threaten to take us off God’s path. Whether you’ve been here every week of the series or this is your first one, we hope to see you here. And don’t forget to change those clocks back on Saturday night!
